Physical Sciences Research

The newest chemistry faculty, Dr. Chris Mullins is conducting research in the area of metallo-biochemistry with small-molecule model complexes. Specifically, he is interested in studying the structure-activity relationships of various metal complexes with ligands containing multiple nitrogen donor atoms.

The pictures on the right provide an idea of the types of compounds we study.

This research is being performed in collaboration with the Grapperhaus group at the University of Louisville. Please see Dr. Mullins if you are interested in participating.
