Horse Logging at CHMF

Log was too heavy for two horses so they hooked up all four to pull it out of the woods.

This Black Oak was nearly three feet in diameter.  Counting rings told us that this tree was nearly 100 years old.

It was hot summer and  horses stirred up a bit of dust.
